If you’re gonna use a free one, might aswell. It’s just their barebones service with 3 countries. I don’t see why it would be any different from the paid option within the same company. There’s no different TOS afaik.

The company collects and processes fingerprintable information, including IP address, for “legitimate interests”, whatever those are at any point in time.
This Application may track Users by storing a unique identifier of their device, for analytics purposes or for storing Users’ preferences.
‘Privacy’ is not even mentioned anywhere in the website, not as a feature, not as a consideration or demonstrating awareness.
Except for GDPR this or that. Who cares, just don’t collect data…
No github page, can’t even take a peek at the development.
I’d say not privacy friendly. Would not install. Because while they don’t seem like a data mining operation, they’re still collecting something and there’s risk of database leaks, and privacy is clearly not a focus.

9·1 day agoMiss when Nvidea was only used to run Call of Duty, not in REAL life.
Guess it’s more profitable now. That’s ok. Completely ok. Not a single issue with it. None. 0 (zero). War isn’t definitely a racket.
Yeah, can’t go wrong with published old books. Yes it did cross my feed. I miss occasionally hearing some bites of Alan Watts or Terrence McKenna talks in music mixes. Funnily enough those seem to have disappeared from youtube from what I’ve heard. I already was taking everything with a grain of salt back then. These days with voice deep fakes, I may need a handfull of salt. I just don’t waste time with it anymore.
I’m sure archive.org has a bunch of old recordings though. So definitely go there.
At some point I was being served slop jung videos on my recommended very aggressively. All the channels were about 2 years old with very consistent video length and publishing rate almost daily. The speech synthesis is also very easy to tell.
Scammers and grifters and narcissistis like to massage with our psychological weaknesses to manipulate us. That’s all one needs to know. They seem to have found Jung a good vehicle.
it’s 1 more after 8! Is there no mercy?
AI slop psychology videos are not to be taken seriously. They’re full of inaccuracies. All of them. Don’t reward these lazy and borderline criminal “content creators”.

3·3 days agoThe error rates were shockingly high not long ago. That never discouraged many politicians. It’s still a recurring argument against these systems. I don’t think much has changed in them. I don’t see any incentive for these companies to improve either. Once they secure the contracts, they’ll just say that AI made an oopsie.

Doesn’t Word have spell check for decades? If you “triple check” your AI, aren’t you just adding more work? If you only need a spell checker, get a spell checker. Having AI spend 20 times the processing power needed for that is still extremely inefficient.
