Not trying to fight, just wanted to get some perspective of someone critical in a thread where everybody else is very positive. I didn’t read your username and didn’t notice I replied three times to the same guy.

What about it?

What’s too complicated exactly? They claim their program does precisely that. I believe you could review the code yourself.

There’s a study linking road rage to the level of authoritarianism in a country’s government. It’s also tightly linked to machismo.
I personally think that it has a lot to do with inadequate infrastructure that requires people to communicate while restricting possibilities for communication (i.e. multi lane roads with high speed limits), combined with lacking drivers’ ed and a fragmented highly individualistic society.
Yeah I didn’t get you right. Thanks for the explanation.
This is quite the opposite of what the image macro says

It’s just not as pretty as lawnchair

There’s a huge difference between personal behavior and policy. I’d rather see politicians who, while flawed in their personal lives, improve the lives of their constituents, than saints who sell out to the highest bidder.
But I suspect your snark does not come from a place of good faith, which is why you resort to cheap ad hominem attacks.
Just to expand on your point:
Love of one’s country; devotion to the welfare of one’s compatriots; passion which inspires one to serve one’s country.
One of these things is not like the others. And it’s the essence of the feeling, sadly. The other stuff is just being a decent person.
That’s not patriotism tho. It’s just common decency.

Why should that urge be masculine tho? I’d rather think it’s a general sentiment.

vote blue no matter who tho

Nah it’s an honest opinion. It’s not polished, it’s not beautiful. It works but it’s ugly.

Abysmal stupid take. Consent is clearly stated or there’s none.

Sorry you live in an undeveloped country.
I feel like I’m repeating myself

Developed countries have robust and reliable energy grids while undeveloped countries do not. That’s real life.

Where are bikes in that analogy? Because they’d work amazingly in rural areas were it not for cars

While this captures some important similarities between the two, I think you missed the most important that makes OP’s thought valid.
Both are individualistic approaches, unlike centralized energy generation or public transit, which are collectivist approaches. While the former grants greater independence to wealthy enough individuals, the latter is much more efficient and grants liberty regardless of personal wealth. For the individual in a fragmented and individualistic society, the former makes a lot more sense (especially since they cannot build a big energy plant or rail line). As a society, it’s several orders of magnitude more meaningful to push for the latter.

Sorry you live in an undeveloped country.
Ty for the effort post. It’s all french to me so I was looking for arrows to nowhere, crooked lines, and messed up text.
