I think the best part is the “Joe and the Hoe” bumper sticker. If even this segment of the population is fed up with local police’s bullshit, maybe there’s some hope.

Here you can appeal it with the city codes department. Read through your codes 8 times and find anything that can help you. For me it was the word “cultivated”. The local codes stated the lawn could not have “non-cultivated” grass/weeds/flowers/whatever over 10" tall (it’s early, I can’t remember the exact verbiage). So in the process of converting my lawn to native grasses and flowers, I’ve just been documenting everything. Now when my neighbor that mows his lawn 3 times a week (no exaggeration) calls in on me this spring; I can show the codes department “no, this is all intentionally and purposely cultivated this way with native plants, and I have the receipts to prove it”.
We’ll see how it goes.

Minecraft? Second only to Tetris in sheer number of sales.
I’ve watched my best friend with this go from getting told “We can’t do a hysterectomy, you might want to have kids!” (despite protests to the contrary) to “well, we can’t be sure you have it without invasive surgery” to “you’re almost menopause age, it’ll go away then”.
I’m furious for her, it’s been tough to watch at times.
During the 90’s you could get this beauty with a tiny 3.4l 60deg Yamaha V8.
Unfortunately the exhaust note was the only redeeming quality. The car and engine both were junk.

Heck yeah! That’s always a good feeling.

Yeah, I happen to. That’s incredibly useful; Thank you very much. If replacing the CPS doesn’t fix yours, let me know. I had a Tiburon with the same motor and I’m pretty familiar with them.

Holy crap, you just helped me even more. That’s a heck of a resource I hadn’t come across yet! Even has flat rates!
If rockauto doesn’t ship to you when you decide to replace it, HMU I’ll see if I can assist.

2.7 V6?
HYUNDAI SANTA FE 2001-2005 HYUNDAI SONATA 1999-2005 HYUNDAI TIBURON 2003-2008 HYUNDAI TUCSON 2005-2009 KIA OPTIMA 2001-2006 KIA SPORTAGE 2005-2010
Not too many recent options there but that should help the search. If you live somewhere they ship to, rockauto.com is probably your best bet for decently priced quality parts.

I just meant that I would try to find a junkyard replacement for your repaired one rather than resort to ebay. You should be able to look up the OEM part # and find all the vehicles that was used on. They don’t change these sensors very often, so it’s possible you can find one that’s only a few years old.
There are lots of parts I’m just fine with using aftermarket. But mission critical components like crank/cam sensors I really only trust to OEM/Bosch/Hitachi.

Honestly you’re far better off with a OEM junkyard part than a new cheap ebay one.

this is only meant to be a temporary fix for a month or three or whatever,
There’s nothing more permanent than a temporary solution.

Those hall effect sensors are pretty robust. I pull them out all the time with chunks of metal stuck to the tip and they are still doing their job just fine. They aren’t taking fine measurements like the hall effect sensor on a joystick does, it’s just 1s and 0s when the fingers of the reluctor ring pass.

Unless it’s a different one, this hoppy boy has been running around Glenpool for around 6 months now.

These fucking mad lads are going out, salvaging UXO, fixing it in a shed, and then lobbing it back at russian positions?
Respect!
My mom told me she believed Paxton had been locked in the house for 3 months. With a huge bag of cat food and a dripping faucet.
I thought it was weird one of the only things I found in my house when I moved in (that wasn’t obviously trash) was a half eaten bag of cat food. Then I found this sweet(ish) girl in the attic when I was crawling around looking for leaks.

I assume the previous tenant left her (and 2 others outside that I was able to re-home). She’s definitely a broken cat. She’ll take a couple pets and then shred your arm. But it’s been almost a year and she gets more comfortable every day.
They’re going to go back later and edit all their replies to make it look like you are being combative and they are just asking polite questions. It’s some weird gaslighting trend. Check back on the thread tomorrow, all watson’s replies will either be deleted or edited.

this is just sheer ignorance if it’s a form of protest.
It’s not a protest. This is a fed up populace saying “Get the fuck out of my city/neighborhood”. Should have been throwing bricks rather than snow.
Mechanic here. I make FAR more money doing oil changes than engine rebuilds.
Edit: and not just because there are far more oil changes. I mean the time a vehicle is occupying a spot in the garage vs the overall profit, is far better for oil changes than engine rebuilds.
