  • On the arch wiki for SSDM I found this:

Changes to your display configuration made in a Plasma Wayland session (e.g. monitor layout, resolution, etc) will not persist to SDDM. To make them persist open Plasma’s System Settings and navigate to Startup and Shutdown> Login Screen (SDDM) and click “Apply Plasma Settings…”. You will need to have permission to perform this action.

You should give that a try

Congrats on normalizing to 2017 dollars, however the graph starts at a misleading 260 billion, not zero. I was always told it’s considered bad form not to include the little squiggly break lines to show that on bar graphs.

So if the amount spent went from roughly 340 billion to 380 billion, ~10% increase, but the cost/quantity*quality of that food (which is difficult to calculate because of shrinkflation, shittier quality generally, and different items being on the menu) has easily gone up 25% at an absolutely uncontroversial low end, that proves the opposite, that people are eating fast food less than pre-covid.

After the revolution I want his nobel prize taken and awarded to me.

  • When liberals ask “do you believe in the ltov?” they’re poisoning the well by implying that Marxism is some completely unscientific religion. No, the LToV is more like a definition of what Marx means when he says “value” and libs love to smugly say “that isn’t what value means according to xyz though” okay then we’re talking about something else aren’t we?

I mean I personally find the ltov to be more a more useful definition than other definitions of “value” because of what Marx does with it but to understand that you would have to read Capital and that’s too much commitment for a smuglord’s twitter post.

Understanding things in context was another thing Marx was big on so I’m positive he meant it to be taken that way.
