I don’t want to idealize the slop of the past, but I miss the old television series format. 24 episodes every year until it got cancelled. Like, Rick and Morty takes 2-3 years between seasons and it’s stupid as hell. Every Netflix series is the same and cancellations are frequent. If a show was popular and you liked it, you very likely had something to watch next year.
