Yeah, I agree. The Wheel of Time adaptation comes to mind. The weather are great, I just actually watched Lightning’s End last night. I’m just about to finish out the last few episodes and then watch the movies. I saw a clip of the live action Mushishi on YouTube and it looked like a bad soap opera level of acting and cinematography, but I’m going to watch it anyways because I just love Mushishi so much. I’m also making my way through the mangas right now which are fantastic so far. It’s by far my favorite Anime I’ve ever watched so far. It’s there anything somewhat adjacent that you’d recommend?

I’ve gotten so good at avoiding ads that whenever I’m somewhere random when an ad is on I literally can’t believe some people can stand that shit at all. Related: my dad loved ads and would leave the TV blasting at full volume during them, it drive me crazy. So maybe my dad was responsible in a way for my intense hatred of advertising.

Damn, are you using Steam for these? I’d rather avoid installing Steam if I can, but if there’s no way to get ge-proton-10-22 on Lutris, I guess I’d suck it up for RBR at least. If I recall, I tried Disco through the Steam proton layer and it fidn’t work for me even through there (I’m running MXLinux).

I’ve tried with Wine and Proton using multiple configurations and nothing worked for me sadly.

I’ve tried through Wine and Lutris, but neither RBR or Sega Rally 2 worked for me. It sucks, because RBR is my jam, it’s the one game that has tempted me to dual boot Windows (that and Disco Elysium which I have yet to play.

I’m saddens that when I downloaded this the other day it wouldn’t run on Lutris for me. I don’t dual boot with Windows so I am out of luck. However, it id lead me to just downloading the cdi for Dreamcast and playing it through Retroarch the last few weeks. It’s been a blast, I’ve been playing the hell out of it and it still holds up.
