I used to eat turkey pretty regularly, and heard this shit all the time when people would see me pull out leftovers at work. My theory is that the average WASP’s idea of turkey is skewed because they only cook it once or twice a year and don’t know how to do it right so they think it sucks when what sucks is their old ass 1950s way of cooking it that they only half remember.
