No one has ever sufficiently been proven wrong in the history of politics. Prepare for one or more of the following:

      • The damage from predecessors was too great
      • Other countries teamed up to prevent him from succeeding
      • The circumstances were out of his control
      • His political opponents sabotaged him
      • It hasn’t been long enough, this is just an adjustment period

It’s infuriating also because these excuses can totally be true.

From the comments on that post:

I still can’t believe 14 million people voted for an AnCap. Even if he fails ( made to fail ), those 14 million people aren’t going anywhere. A lot of them, I believe, will double down on liberty if Milei goes away. Kind of like Ron Paul and Trump supporters.

He cannot fail, he can only be failed.

This dork thinks people vote out of ideological fervor. Yes, since Eugene Debs got one million votes in 1920 all of those voters staged a million person socialist coup on Washington throughout the following year. That’s how this works.

And what’s with those examples lol. Ron Paul supporters vanished into nothing until oil executives launched a campaign to scoop them into the tea party thing. Trump supporters went to the capital, wandered around in circles, then left.
