Okay, the spinning would certainly get me queasy, but I think such spinning would still make me sick if I experienced it with the correct motion. Not that I’d have the opportunity to find out.
I think seated joystick movement might not bother me too much, if I think of it like a mobility scooter. Standing? I’m worried about that the most.
Strongly advise starting out near a wall or something so you can lean against it if you feel you might fall over. The only sensation weirder than moving in game while standing still IRL for me is getting acclimated to being in VR, and then leaving it. It’s not quesiness or anything, but it just feels wonky for up to an hour, depending on how long I was in the headset. Like the real world isn’t real.
