Get it? “Revolting” is a double entendre! Anyway…
As the Trump administration continues to accelerate the flagrant disregard of “international law”, we have seen various European leaders flock to China (alongside Canada), seeking deals. Some trips have been more successful than others - for example, Macron’s was fairly dire despite his lavish reception by Xi Jinping, but Starmer’s resulted in some actual deals and tariff reductions. The intent of this wave of diplomacy with China is clear: leverage.
Nobody should be fooled into thinking this revolt immediately benefits the developing world, of course. While a relative weakening of the US compared to Europe is progressive in a limited sense (insofar as the US is the locus of imperialism), every indication shows that, when it matters, the European consensus remains aligned in most respects with the US, such as with them and the Zionist entity against Iran, against national sovereignty in Africa (e.g. ECOWAS), as well as in Latin America (either in support or not sufficiently opposing American designs there against Cuba and Venezuela, to name but two countries). It is also unclear how long such a divide will last - perhaps Trump leaving office in 2028 and a slightly less bellicose leader in power will result in many cancelled deals with China.
Despite the very shaky initial steps over the past couple years, Europe still has many miles it must traverse to achieve sovereignty, let alone socialism. For now, it will cheer on the sanctions against millions of vulnerable people and incoming bombing of Iran and Hezbollah, though perhaps it will also share a degree of the economic/military retaliation.

(DHS/ICE funding bill) I don’t think that Democrats are supposed to admit to the rotating villain strategy so openly.
One lawmaker deeply involved in the process told Axios that, no matter how many votes Republicans lose, there are almost certainly enough Democratic votes to make up for it.
The base “may” get upset about the vote initially but “that’ll go away,” one lawmaker told Axios, because “then you’re going to have the real fight for two weeks.”
The base “may” get upset about the vote initially but “that’ll go away,” one lawmaker told Axios
This has been quite true for much of recent US history. However, people are a lot more aware of this game now - and a lot angrier. Notwithstanding that this admission would contribute to the awareness.
I don’t view this admission as them flexing on us. I think they are desperate to lie to themselves - ala “Let them eat cake”.
Things are changing. Marxism is more and more understood to be the alternative.

Dems are used to being hated by their base, I think they really don’t understand how upset people are. I have seen numerous conversations from normies about arming up, democrats being just as bad or worse than the fascists because they let this all happen, etc. And that was before more of the Epstein files were released, basically proving even Democrats are sheltering people guilty of the most horrific crimes.
The rich ghouls are soulless and don’t care about anything, they can’t comprehend people being serious and upset about something for an extended amount of time.
The base may be influenced by the superstructure, but eventually the superstructure will be influenced by the base.

Extremely cool of the jury. Many more PA members still awaiting trial but this is a huge first stepGotta say, there’s something funny about the US getting booed at the Winter Olympics opening ceremony, and seeing a bunch of American liberals pretend that the fans were only booing JD Vance or saying that American athletes shouldn’t have to come out and say that just because they are representing the US doesn’t mean they support the US government. Funny how the latter doesn’t apply to Russia.

Norway’s monarchy is in deep crisis. Just as the crown princess’ son from a previous marriage is about to stand trial on multiple cases ofremoved and partner abuse, newly released Epstein files shows that the crown princess has lied about the extent of her connections to the international elite pedophile. Crown princess Mette Marit maintained extensive correspondence with Epstein, including on sexual topics, even after his conviction and lived in his mansion for several days in 2013.
Norwegians social is distancing themselves from her. The organisation Sex and Society has ended her patronage of the “Shameless Prize”, an award fighting sexual stigmatization and the Norwegian Red Cross has signalled that they are considering the future of her collaboration with them. Polls shows that most Norwegians do not want her as queen.
With the current king being old and in bad health, the question of succession is not a hypothetical one and his son crown prince Haakon might soon become king, making crown princess Mette Marit queen. It has been suggested by commentators that Mette Marit might get the same kind of deal prince Andrew got and get stripped of her titles and roles and removed from public life. Although the Norwegian parliament recently voted down a motion to end the monarchy, a motion that is brought forward by the left at the start of every session, it remains an open question if the Norwegian monarchy can survive having a king who is married to someone who can’t show her face in public because everybody hates her.
The Norwegian state is considering an open-ended investigation into Norwegians who were complicit in Epstein’s crimes. An ambassador has already lost his job. The worst might still be to come for Norway’s royal family.
Norway’s crown princess had years of contact with Epstein, files suggest (The Guardian)

Mette-Marit apologises for ‘poor judgment’ as documents reportedly include scores of email exchanges with child sex offender
Norway’s crown princess has become embroiled in another scandal after newly unsealed files appeared to show her years of extensive contact with the late child sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.
The latest tranche of Epstein files, released on Friday by the US justice department, appear to include nearly 1,000 mentions of the crown princess, Mette-Marit.
The files include scores of emails traded between the two, suggesting they were in contact from 2011 to 2014, the Norwegian daily VG reported. Mette-Marit married the future king of Norway in 2001.
The revelations come at a sensitive time for the royal family. The trial of Mette-Marit’s son, Marius Borg Høiby forremoved is due to begin on Tuesday. He was born from a relationship before she married Crown Prince Haakon
Høiby is facing 38 charges, including the allegedremoved of four women as well as alleged assault and drug offences. If convicted he could face up to 16 years in prison. Høiby has denied the most serious charges, including those of sexual abuse.
On Saturday, Mette-Marit addressed her relationship with Epstein, who killed himself in jail in 2019 as he awaited trial for sex crimes against minors.
“I showed poor judgment and I deeply regret having had any contact with Epstein. It is simply embarrassing,” she said in a statement issued by the royal palace.
The Norwegian media’s attention was this weekend focused on the many emails that the princess exchanged with Epstein, years after he pleaded guilty to charges that included soliciting prostitution from a minor in Florida.
The emails contained in the files suggested the two were close, with Mette-Marit telling Epstein that “you tickle my brain” in one message and calling him “soft hearted” and “such a sweetheart” in others.
In 2012, Mette-Marit told Epstein he was “very charming” and asked if it was “inappropriate for a mother to suggest two naked women carrying a surfboard for my 15 yr old sons wallpaper?”
Weeks earlier she and Epstein had traded emails about him being on a “wife hunt” in Paris. She replied that the French capital was “good for adultery” and added that “Scandis (are) better wife material”.
In another, she thanked Epstein for flowers he had sent when she was feeling unwell, signing off with “Love, Mm.”
The exchanges regularly made mention of plans to get together, while files indicate she also stayed at his house in Palm Beach, Florida, for four days in 2013 when Epstein was not there.
Inclusion in the files does not imply wrongdoing.
In her statement on Saturday, Mette-Marit, 52, expressed her “deep sympathy and solidarity” with Epstein’s victims and said she was responsible “for not having checked Epstein’s background more closely and not understanding quickly enough what kind of person he was”.
The files, however, include a 2011 exchange in which Mette-Marit told Epstein that she had “Googled” him, adding “it didn’t look too good” along with a smiling emoji. The email did not specify what she had found during her online search.
The palace said Mette-Marit had ended written contact with Epstein in 2014 as she felt he was “trying to use his relationship with the crown princess as leverage with other people”.
As the seven-week trial of her son gets under way in Oslo, the royal couple are not expected to attend. Haakon has told reporters that Mette-Marit would be away on a private trip during that period.
Høiby does not have a royal title and is outside the line of royal succession. Earlier this year, the Norwegian royal court addressed the trial in a statement, saying: “It is for the courts to consider this matter and reach a decision. We have no further comment.”
China’s anti-crypto laws expanded to include a ban on real-world asset tokenization.
The People’s Bank of China (PBoC) just released a new circular expanding the current ban on cryptocurrencies and other related technologies in the country. China’s central banking institution [machine translated] broadened the 2021 restrictions to include real-world asset (RWA) tokenization, even including offshore tokenization of domestic assets and rights, unless approved by a regulated body
The new circular also banned internet providers from promoting, hosting, or even providing cryptocurrency and RWA traffic.
It seems Epstein has been confirmed as a Mossad agent with near certainty. Shocking.
FBI report: Epstein ‘Mossad Agent’, Trump ‘Compromised’ By Israel (20m video)
Now that the entire ruling class is exposed as a cabal of pedos they’re like “it’s the juice”
This is the real reason they stalled and dragged this out as long as they could. They don’t care if normies think Chomsky or Dershowitz are pedos but they DO care if Epstein and Israel get combined conceptually in the mind of the public
That’s their strategy, now for if it will work…

LMFAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAO! Russiagate is apparently always a winning gamble.
Always! It’s so fucking nauseating and transparent what they’re trying to do. I cannot believe there people out there who hold these news outlets in high regard. Pure propaganda.
I remember when Donna Brazile blamed her own leaking of primary debate questions to Hillary’s campaign on “RUSSIAN HACKERS!!!” in 2016. Seems like it’s always been extremely transparent. Then they try to catch up after the fact with the justifying propaganda…and still mostly fail, at least with anyone who has been paying the slightest bit of attention and has a skeptical bone in their body.
But I guess that’s the problem: they murdered skepticism a while ago, and I’m not sure if it’s really growing back yet.

Another logistics issue for the USA in the military buildup against Iran:
After the cold front over much of the continental USA has delayed the transfer of air defence systems to the Middle East last week, the US faces another logistical setback, this time to do with the transfer of tactical fighter aircraft towards the Middle East. While the six EA-18G Growler EW/SEAD were moving from Puerto Rico to Jordan along with mid air refueling aircraft dragging them, they stopped over that Morón Air Force Base in Spain. During the takeoff of one of these KC-46 Pegasus mid air refueling aircraft (2 engined aircraft, converted from a Boeing 767) from Morón, a presumed bird strike disabled one of the two engines of the KC-46. This led to the pilots making the decision to abort/reject the takeoff, while hurtling down the runway full of fuel. While slowing down their stricken KC-46, they blew/punctured 8 tyres, leaving the aircraft immobilised and blocking the sole runway. Thus Morón (ICAO: LEMO) is out of action until February 6th, which meant that only 4 of the 6 EA-18G Growlers made it to Jordan, 6x of the F-35As had to divert to Rota, and the other 6x F-35As never left Puerto Rico. Two KC-46s are now also stranded at Morón, along with 2x EA-18Gs. The loss of Morón until at least February 6th will likely delay the transfer of US tactical fighter aircraft towards the Middle East. They obviously can use other airbases, but two EA-18Gs are currently stranded. Expect some stalling for time here by the USA with regards to Iran.

Thanks to our avian friends for their sacrifice

How costly is any of these delays for the US? Is it impactful in any way?
Long and medium term, not that costly. But in the short term, 14 fighter jets that should be in Jordan now, are not in Jordan.
Apoyo infinito al Camarada Pájaro o7
If a single airbase, with a single runway, can delay the death of likely a thousand Iranian souls by weeks, then their disruption is all the more necessary.
i feel like amerikkka got green light from someone in irgc, same as venezuela, it seems very strange otherwise to bring delta forces to azerbaijan or wherever.
Do we have evidence VZ was an inside job?
riddle me this, how would it look differently if it definitely was? i mean, ramming oil privatization, releasing the political prisoners ™, accepting cia director and ambassador of great satan. obviously without classified documents, we only get snippets and interviews, but they all (words by usa & deeds by delcy) paint same coherent picture, for me at least.
last couple of years definitely shed some feely-based blinders for me, if you have porky elite in your country, you won’t show any solidarity against great satan and you can get bought out at any point if you are under sanctinos, as your cheap shitty assets under auspices of usa empire become very profitable assets, ussr playbook basically.
(i can even make a falsifiable prediction, if there is a daring raid and series of strikes inside iran, where khomenei and some irgc personnel are disabled, they enter some negotiations with end result being same oil privatization, removal of sanctions and abandoning their allies, that is what happened)
Leadership capitulating and giving all these concessions doesn’t necessarily mean it was an inside job though. The US did take losses (they lie about having none) and the US also suppressed the air defenses with SEAD/DEAD, cyber attacks, electronic warfare and likely sabotage. Hundred or so Venezuelans and Cubans were killed.
Yes it does, you don’t write such a law in a month, and get it supported by your party unless it was prepared beforehand. I’m not saying it was inside job as in they did themselves, it was inside acquiescence.
To me the curious question is it no-choice betrayal and they continue on the downlow communities movement, or will they dismantle them to get their kids into boards of directors, so betrayal of opportunity

Here is the Qiushi article in which he says so (at the start of part II). The specific context in which he mentions a global reserve currency is when listing the attributes of a “financial powerhouse,” the first of which being:
“a strong currency that is widely used in international trade, investment and foreign exchange markets, holding the status of a global reserve currency.” (translated by DeepL, emphasis mine)
I don’t think there is any mention in the Qiushi article about domestic consumption from what I can tell, though I guess this makes sense for an article focused on financial & monetary policy…? However part of me wonders whether strengthening the RMB could be a disguised way of boosting consumer spending without having to address the domestic issues behind the slump (and thus avoiding to address the neoliberal elephant in the room)? (my hope is that I’ll be corrected on this assumption!)
I think that’s the novelty, right? Because up until a certain point the idea was for the RMB to be an ‘international currency’ via currency swaps that help other countries save up on their scarce dollar savings. I don’t think you can have a strong RMB without increasing domestic consumption and increasing imports OR contracting the entire economy, unless China’s exports are so efficient that the businesses can consolidate and still outcompete everyone else in price.
Not news, but a reality check.
Remember two simple principles: Nuclear Weapons and Strong Party Discipline. In a world where your biggest enemy is a nuclear-armed genocide-loving superpower you will NOT get second chances, you CANNOT hesitate.
Therefore I offer my humble salute to the DPRK and China for maintaining their decades-long national policies (NON-NEGOTIABLE) of acquiring nuclear weapons and maintaining strict party discipline.

President Díaz-Canel live on the situation in Cuba, the impact of latest US measures, the support of the international community, relations with Venezuela, strategy to overcome the current crisis:
Speech
At the diplomatic and rhetorical levels, support has been received from many countries, for Cuba, “but behind those speeches there is more, things that we also cannot openly explain because the enemy is pursuing every avenue that Cuba might open up for them.” “I can assure you, with the utmost responsibility, that Cuba is not alone.”
“Right now there are people, governments, countries, institutions, and companies that are willing to work with Cuba, and that have already shared with us ways, mechanisms, and intentions of how we can do so”
“The energy persecution, the financial persecution, the intensification of the blockade with these coercive measures is such that we know we have to do a very strong, very creative, very intelligent job to overcome all these obstacles”
“Not allowing a single drop of fuel to enter our country will affect transportation, food production, tourism, children’s education, and the healthcare system.”
“They are waging psychological warfare against Cuba to fracture the unity of the Cuban people and generate uncertainty,”
“I am not an idealist. I know that we are going to live through difficult times, but we will overcome them together, with creative resistance and the contribution of the majority of Cubans."
President Diaz Canel on confronting the US energy blockade:
Speech
“The country must be able to sustain itself with its own energy sources: our own oil, our own gas, biomass, solar energy…”
“By the end of February, we will have added another 98 MW from renewable sources; by the end of March, we will have added another 58 MW, on the path to energy independence.”
“The way the US energy blockade has been implemented reinforces our commitment to the renewable energy strategy.”
“Even with an energy blockade, we will not give up on receiving fuel in our country.”
“I always say that all generations of Cubans, from those born in the early years of the Revolution to the most recent, our grandchildren, our children, were born and lived under a blockade and were born under the signs of this economic suffocation.”
Regarding cooperation with Venezuela and how the US naval blockade on Venezuela affects Cuba:
Speech
“Cuba does not have a relationship of dependency with Venezuela, but rather a relationship of exchange between sister nations within an integration project.”
Economic and commercial relations, as well as significant collaborative projects in energy and medical services, were formed between Cuba and Venezuela, some of which were offset by fuel payments.
“At one time, they did cover all of our country’s fuel needs, but not recently, because we must remember that Venezuela has been subjected to sanctions, coercive measures, and pressures that have affected this exchange”
He added that once the energy and naval blockade against Venezuela began, it prevented ships from Venezuela, and even from other nations carrying Venezuelan fuel, from reaching Cuba.
“The situation is further aggravated by the executive order recently signed by the United States government, which uses threats of tariffs to manipulate countries that supply oil to Cuba. Under this pretext, they have practically imposed an energy blockade on our country.”
Cuba’s president on the threat of US military attack:
Speech
“It’s our sovereign duty, in the face of a period of aggression, to prepare for an attack.”
“All the country’s territorial defense systems are being prepared and their plans updated.”
“Cuba is a peaceful country; we are not a threat to the US,” but we have the right to defend ourselves.
“We know that terrorists are being financed and are preparing in Miami to carry out attacks in Cuba, and we will denounce them at the appropriate time.”
“Surrender is not an option in this country.”
“Trump, with his statements, acknowledges that there is no failed state, but rather a state that has had to confront the aggressions and sanctions of the most powerful empire in the world, when he says that there is no other pressure to apply to Cuba than to destroy and devastate it.”
“Cuba is willing to engage in dialogue with the US, dialogue on any issue, but without pressure, without preconditions, on equal footing, with respect for our sovereignty and self-determination, in a civilized dialogue that can build a relationship between neighbors that benefits both countries.”
MigrantInsider - How the Pentagon is Quietly Building Trump’s Concentration Camps
The genocide has received funding.
Abridged
A massive Navy contract vehicle, once valued at $10 billion, has ballooned to a staggering $55 billion ceiling to expedite President Donald Trump’s “mass deportation” agenda.
This $45 billion increase, published just weeks ago, converts the U.S. into a “geographic region” for expeditionary military-style detention. It signals a massive, long-term escalation in the government’s capacity to pay for detention and deportation logistics. In the world of federal contracting, it is the difference between a temporary surge and a permanent infrastructure.
Task orders allow DHS to bypass the months-long public bidding process for every new facility. When the contract says task orders are issued when “specific dates and locations are identified,” it means the infrastructure is currently a “ghost” network that can be materialized anywhere in the U.S. the moment a site is picked.
MY TAKE: If Congress does nothing, DHS will continue to thrive. With three more years pre-funded, plus a U.S. Navy as a benefactor, Secretary Kristi Noem–or any potential successor–has the legal and financial runway to keep the business of creating ICE concentration camps overnight in American communities running long after any news cycle fades.
While Kennedy predicts a “long, long shutdown” for DHS, this contract vehicle suggests the department has already secured the “ceiling” it needs to operate at a massive scale regardless of the immediate budget battles in the House.
I remember chuds/conspiracists losing it over “FEMA concentration camps” but now that ICE/DHS is actually preparing a network of camps there’s crickets
