We can also thank the democrats for helping to write terror definitions so broadly as to let the administration decree virtually any group a terrorist. Including the democratic party at some point. What a joke. The lawmakers think they are on the same side as the republicans still though, and their reason for being is crushing and suppressing any sort of do gooderism or popular reform, so they will at least partly support proscribing environmental groups under bad faith designations as the UK did before them.

We all knew this was coming. Animal rights protesters, environmental protesters, not just climate change, but especially those opposing oil pipelines and drilling and the like. Israel protesters. Those are just to start. Soon everyone the administration is paid off to proscribe.

Even if it’s not an official designation because it’s domestic, it could amount to the same thing, especially with state laws as they are and states following their lead. Just as Georgia did with the protesters to cop city quoting homeland security that called them terrorists.

Not anymore, environmental protesters are public enemy number 1 as far as they are concerned, not just the feds, but many states as well. Many passed draconian unconstitutional protest laws in effect illegalizing protests against critical infrastructure. Making impeding it, a very broad term that can encompass walking on their land, blocking a road as defined by them, causing a disturbance, etc., a serious felony punishable by ten plus years in prison, and in some making organizers and promoters of protests liable for all the protesters. Meaning agent provokateurs can break something and they can fine the organizers or group that posted the protest on their facebook page 100k or whatever it is, plus damages.

Said laws were passed in response to the standing rock and other protests halfway through the president’s first term, as reported in the Intercept.

Then you have private RICO cases like the one is North Dakota was it? Where they railroaded greenpeace in a ridiculous kangaroo court.
