Which server do you think is the best on the Bedrock version of Minecraft? I think Cubecraft or The Hive.
Assuming that you want to play on a device that only supports bedrock (like a console) then I recommend you use the Java server purpur.
https://purpurmc.org/download/purpur/1.21.10
Then you can install the following plugins:
Geysermc - add bedrock support https://download.geysermc.org/v2/projects/geyser/versions/latest/builds/latest/downloads/spigot
Floodgate - bedrock player linking https://download.geysermc.org/v2/projects/floodgate/versions/latest/builds/latest/downloads/spigot
Viaversion - give some client version flexibility (forward) https://hangar.papermc.io/ViaVersion/ViaVersion/versions
Viabackwards - older clients support https://hangar.papermc.io/ViaVersion/ViaBackwards/versions
To make joining easier you can make a dummy Xbox Live account that you add as a friend, then you can just join on that “player” to get it from any device easily. To do that add this extension to geysermc: https://github.com/MCXboxBroadcast/Broadcaster
All that looks like a lot but it’s really not so bad to setup and once it is then your done (just update the plugins to ensure client compatability)
But with this done then you have a reliable server that all bedrock and Java clients can join from at the same time. It also gives you access to bukkit plugins to expand the server to do more things. Like bluemap or treeassist.
Friends don’t let friends use Bedrock.
Cube craft for ping at least for me
Java
“Best” and “Bedrock” don’t belong in the same sentence.
Why?
Because it’s very buggy compared to the Java version. The only good thing about bedrock is cross-play between consoles and computers.
You couldn’t pay me to play Bugrock, let alone Bugrock multiplayer.
So why? I think the Bedrock version has many good points.
Because Microsoft is trying to use it to fracture and control the Minecraft community, divide and conquer. It’s a lazy ripoff of real Java Minecraft, locked down with DRM and restricted to platforms Microsoft blesses, and the only significant improvement is more graphical sparkles (not as much as modded Java though) and new modes (not as many as modded Java though) and new creatures (not as many as modded Java though) and new blocks (not as many as modded Java though) and new dungeons (not as many as modded Java though) … are you sensing a theme yet?
It also has all kinds of paid DLC and microtransactions and advertising shoved into it which they want you to believe are somehow “better” than the countless variety of mods that have been developed for free by the community (they’re not)
Not me, but my producer. We’re both Java players, and we found some non-P2W servers (Modern Beta, Cherry Block, ModMix, and Gamer Dorks), but my producer was testing them out, and seeing how they worked after making an optimized modpack for himself (he absolutely loves playing modded Minecraft).
