I guess the throw would be similar to that of shotput.

I was in the shower and started wondering if cock-tossing could be a viable sport if all competitors (cock-fondlers, I guess) prioritized animal wellbeing over winning.

      Yeah, I forgot to specify that I was thinking of birds that can maneuver into a soft landing. I think penguins are dealing with enough already anyway.

      I don’t think of a penguin as semi flightless, i believe it’s considered flightless. A chicken would be semi-flightless.

      I’ve had chickens explicitly enjoy being tossed and thrown so they could do a soft landing. They ran up to me over and over and once picked up either went for a cuddle or wings wide in anticipation.

    Sanctuary / rescue workers might do a gentle toss with some animals if it fits in with their training / recovery.
