      I’ve done it before 😆 If it attacked, and Berserk can only be cast before combat damage.

      Why, in my day, we Berserked our own Blood Lusted Ball Lightnings, and we liked it!

      Ball Lightning is in Standard, it’s in Foundations. 🤔

        Bulk Up can replace Blood Lust, just a couple of posts before this one. Same cost, Instant, doubles power.

        Get a 24 power ball lightning going.

          I can play it in Historic on Arena but the “bonus sheet” cards like this are never legal in Standard because it’s all the powerful stuff they want to reprint for Commander in paper and Brawl on Arena.

            Aww. Never play anything official it’s just my friends and whatever cards they have. Banlists are for people who don’t know each other and can’t know what everyone will find fun.

        Ball Lightning is in Standard, it’s in Foundations.

        Assuming SOA is like the original Strixhaven archive cards (and I’d be shocked if it weren’t), Berserk won’t be standard legal.

        In the original Strixhaven set, being reprinted in STA didn’t make a card legal in standard. Instead, standard legal cards (from other sets) were reprinted below rare, and cards not already legal in standard were reprinted as rare or above.

        Notably, SOA includes Monstrous Rage at uncommon. It would be standard legal if it weren’t banned. The set may have been designed and finalized before it was banned, resulting in it appearing at all as an uncommon in SOA.
