    I remember in 2024 when we had the student encampments for Gaza and it seemed like with enough hard work, we could pressure the American government to stop funding Israel. Public opinion was on our side, and the politicians were slowly coming around. Bernie had switched sides from zionism to being pro-Palestine, we were making an impact.

    And then Trump got elected. And now the same people who were leading those protests are being disappeared by ICE. We’re too busy with No Kings to do No Israel. It’s all gone to shit because of Trump. If only more people had voted against bad change, we could have kept using civil disobedience to push towards good change. Instead people voted for bad change, and now stagnation is the best we can hope for from a successful direct action. Because stagnation is better than falling straight into fascism.

    We haven’t been galvanised into revolting, the accelerationists were wrong. Letting the Nazi party win just made things harder for the revolutionaries.

      You missed the part where Biden called them antisemites and supported colleges spending millions to send the cops to kick the shit out of the politically activated youth that dems depend on, and lost the election to do it.
