I felt so bad for Seven in this episode. Every belief she held as a drone was challenged by deassimilation back into Human. Then suddenly, everything she was taught by the collective was vindicated only to have it chucked out the airlock.
Imagine seeing the face of god only to be told it would have destroyed you.
I can just imagine her reaction if she could have lived long enough (or via some timey-whimey shenanigans) to witness her perfection made manifest in Academy.

Had to look that up. Not familiar with The Revelation Space. I’m guessing you’d recommend it?
I do, with caveats. The ending of the series is not great and some people don’t like his characters. But there’s so much to enjoy within the series if you want some cool scifi ideas and concepts
