Attempt at a first variation of a thread to help facilitate organizing/hosting/scheduling/impromptu fill-ins for when someone can’t make it and possibly gather ideas/suggestions if this isn’t adequate enough.
edit: this will probably just be primarily for when someone who is hosting in a time slot can’t make it for the time being or for people who have some sharing arrangement

My current plan for if I am ever absent myself is for @AernaLingus@hexbear.net to take over for me and follow my schedule, if I can provide advanced warning. On the off chance that I am ever absent without advanced warning, then I don’t know, @Redcuban1959@hexbear.net → @wombat@hexbear.net → @Camden28@hexbear.net → @Lemmygradwontallowme@hexbear.net seems like a good “line of succession”, and if none of these four are available, the other regular blorphosts can debate amongst themselves who should take over for me. Once I get back, I might ask to borrow days from other blorpers just so I can get back on schedule.
If I haven’t made an announcement post by five hours before my usual time — I usually try to make one by around T-9 hours — then you should start preparing someone to take over for me, but still wait to see if I get back by T-2 hours.
