This mean you already have 3 wishes (or more). Now you only need genie.

Yes, but the wishes are interpreted by an LLM and it is trained only on data relating to engines overheating.

So long as one of them is high vehicle repair/replacement cost, maybe!

Yes, but they’re going to be:

    1. I wish I had oil in the car
    2. I wish my car didn’t break down
    3. I wish I was better at car maintenance

That image is more out of date than the save floppy disk 💾 icon… Yet I never see it compared or mentioned.

I can’t even name the object it represents. I get it’s an oil can… But is that the name? It’s like an oil teapot.

P.S did some of them have a flame? They they were also torches that predate electricity?

Oil can. That’s what the Tin Man asks for. Dorothy oiling Tin Man

It’s different than an oil lamp, which is basically just a candle in liquid form with a piece of cloth or rope as the wick and which may or may not contain genies. oil lamp

Do people not know what an oil lamp is? The retelling of genie stories in various modern forms surely must make this object recognizeable in modern culture. There’s even some emojis for this. 🧞🪔

People mostly don’t know what an oil lamp is, or even that a wick works at all.

That’s oil dripping from the spout, lol

But you pose an interesting question - even when idiot lights first appeared (1960’s) - surely this would’ve already been an outdated icon.

By then the standard automotive oil can would’ve been the cardboard cylinder and oil spout
