I’m trying to explore any “side hustles” or stuff I can do to make money.
Not start a business or have a job.
But other things that can net you some money.
So far, I’ve only heard of stuff like “doing a survey” or “make a YouTube or TikTok channel” but I’m not sure about the former and the latter is something I don’t quite want to commit to or do entirely.
Still looking on my search engine for opportunities.
What can I do exactly? What opportunities are available for me now?
FYI, I’m trying to make sure I can pay for certain medical stuff in Spain when I get there, never mind any essentials I might need.

No, in the US a direct deposit is a specific way that firms and the government deposit money in your account. Essentially instead of writing you a check your job takes your bank information and directly deposits the money into the account themselves, in effect giving your job permission to “access” your bank account as only account holders or money wires can typically make deposits.
Personal deposits do not count as direct deposits. So moving savings will not earn you the account sign up bonuses in the US.
The rationale is that excluding personal deposits limits money laundering since an individual could move money around to different accounts and earn clean money off of dirty money. However the reality is that individuals with jobs make for better customers then those without, so banks hope to attract said customers.
