    I’m very surprised she can remember something from before she was born. Even more surprising that you made a quesadilla for someone who didn’t exist. Or maybe this is just really old. Both options are equally likely.

      Yeah, I’m trying to guestimate when this was posted. It can’t be too far in the past, because it’s a five-year-old, but they wouldn’t write “in the summer of 2019”, if it happened in the previous year. They also wouldn’t post it, if it wasn’t out of the ordinary, that the kid remembers.

      So, maybe 2021 or 2022?

    4 years ago, when my oldest was 4, she didnt get to finish her donut for breakfast (it was someones birthday) because we needed to get her to daycare so we could get to work. Her mother told her she’d bring the left over donut when she picked her up from day care that day, and she forgot.

    She still reminds her of the time she forgot her donut.

      Damn right. I hope on your wife’s deathbed your daughter reminds her. It’s amazing the trauma and abuse that has become totally normalized.

    I’m in my 40s and i still remember the day my dad had to jump in for my mum to do the cooking. He made the worst green pease that i have ever eaten, to this day. Fuck, i miss him.
