… that’s about threefiddy!
Put your hand in that crack and you won’t get it back,
That’s a moray!
…good to know?
(Sung to the tune of “That’s Amore!”)

This is in the middle of Christchurch, NZ, where a set of steps run down to the river. Office people eat their lunch there and feed the eels.
What about when the moon hits your eye?
That’s just amore
You mean a moray?
That’s what I said. Are you feeling eel?
“If it swims in a reef and has 2 sets of teeth that’s…a moray. When the view hits you eye like a zi-zagging dye…that’s a moiré.”
I may love those 2 jokes too much. I teach underwater photography at a local university, so I get to use both in lecture!
The mouth motion helps to circulate water to their gills which are quite a bit smaller than most ray finned fish I believe
they should swim more
Then they’d have to eat more but they specced hard into “ambush predator” which is unreliable.
The danger noodle way of life
This dude was the first thing I saw when I dove in a coral reef. About 3 seconds after getting into the water he shoots out his head and grabs some sort of beautiful yellow fish and just zooms back into his hole.
- Scare Italian plumber
I’ve been putting this off and it’s piling up.
All in a day’s work
No way those things are real. They are all just aquarium robots.
Leaving the sea was a mistake.
Don’t forget to greet, when some Bandicoot passes by.
#goals
It’s all fun and games, till some plumber comes by and kicks you in the teeth
Usagi has its work cut out for it. Hopefully no one will come along and steal its star.
I think you mean Unagi. Usagi is rabbit.
But also, saltwater eels are usually referred to as Anago.
Good try though. B+ for effort.
