Just as well. The show was fun but 62-year-old Nic as Spiderman was always a reach.
Yeah it kind threw me out every time when he’d move like a 60 year old and then he puts on the costume and suddenly moves like a gymnast and loses a bunch of weight. But then also still talks in a 60 year olds voice lol
I mean, Spider-Noir was always a grizzled old man. He wasn’t the youthful spry Peter Parker we see in most versions of Spider-Man. He’s Ben Parker, Peter’s uncle. (I don’t think there’s a Peter Parker in his universe though?) And he’s your stereotypical beat-down, cynical, drunkard of a detective.
The spider powers probably give him some crazy energy and agility for his age, but when he’s not in the suit, he needs to look and act like his age so no one suspects him. So I personally think the difference between masked and unmasked Spider-Noir worked very well in the show.
Yeah he really did well.
