Yeaaaah…so both of my nipples started leaking. Which, in a weird way, makes me feel better? Cause having just one do it is kinda weird.
Also they hurt like wtf girls?

So I’m wearing a t-shirt for now, to soak up the tiny droplets which keep forming. It works, better than having to do it manually with a piece of toilet paper so freaking often, anyway.

This definitely isn’t an infection, I’m almost certain of that now. For one, it’s both of them leaking now.
And also…

Gross

It isn’t sour anymore. In my mind, sour would mean serous which would mean infection (for some reason, don’t ask).
Buuuut…well, now it’s slightly sweet and really just milky. It’s not…bad, actually.

All of this (in my opinion) points to high prolactin, which would make perfect sense in this case, I’m taking an SSRI (which increases prolactin), trazodone (which does as well) and cypro (which massively increases prolactin). I might bump my cypro dose down to 25mg every three days instead of two…
I think I’m fine, but I’m definitely getting an endo appointment now, just to make sure it’s not a tumor. Even a benign one, having a mass in your head is not a good thing…

Other than my boobs hurting a lot now and leaking a milky substance…I’m fine tho. And I think that’s a good thing.
The only thing that bothers me, is that as they grow, my nips are getting…well, I don’t like the shape much tbh. But what can I really do?

Actually, I was surprised by this reaction of mine, but I’m actually kind of enjoying the milkage. It’s…affirming in the grossest, weirdest of ways (sorry). I don’t mind! Still, worth getting checked out. And I’ll do just that.

When I had my son, they had these pads you can put in your bra for breastfeeding, those might help. I hope you figure it out soon.

That would honestly help a lot, I think. God I should buy a real bra and not just a bralette…I’m a failure /s

I can’t speak to the lactation, but hurting a lot may indicate a growth spurt. And yeah, ripples have all sorts of shapes and a lot of people are insecure about theirs (didn’t check the hidden portion because I’m in public)

Probably a growth spurt! At least from what I can tell in the mirror. Should really do another timeline…

And yeah, nipples have all sorts of shapes and a lot of people are insecure about theirs

I know, I was just a bit surprised. The lactation seems to have done something indeed. I’m not actually insecure (yet!), I was just surprised.

didn’t check the hidden portion because I’m in public

The spoiler is weird, yeah, but it’s just text, I promise 😂
You’ve learned well tho, avoiding spoilers from me in public, lol. Good on you! This one’s safe tho.

Ok yeah that’s not even that weird (though I’m a pretty intense mammophile so I might not be the arbiter of normal here).

And yeah, you’re also just around the stage nipples start changing. I totally had forgotten my nipples weren’t always like this.

Mammophile…is really freaking funny to me for some reason, sorry 😂

Nipples totally do change! And, you know, it’s probably important. Probably a normal part of the development process.
Idk tho, I’m not really a boob expert 🤷‍♀️

Thanks lol, I find it fun to use the paraphilic term for my downright cliche sexual preference (though I do seem to be more breast obsessed than most people into women, so idk, maybe it’s actually more accurate to describe me as a breast fetishist).

But yeah, I wouldn’t call myself a boob expert, but I have dedicated my life to the close study of them, and yeah it’s a part of the development process. Also them hurting like all hell is too. The early growth spurts leave them achey and sore, in a way that’s reminiscent of getting kicked in the balls (IIRC, it’s been about a decade since that stage of hormones and like 5 years since I’ve had balls). The growth stages hurt less and less as you develop more boob and will be minor aches and soreness with increased hunger once you enter the “maybe a minor growth phase once or twice a year” stage.

Also little piece of advice, I attribute part of me having nice tits to the fact that when they were sore early on after a while I started going to town on some peanut butter, just like I had done during growth spurts during first puberty. I wish I’d known to do it from the first boob growth. I know y’all Europeans aren’t nearly as big on it and that it’s mostly an American food, but it’s replaceable with any calorically dense fatty food that you can easily grab when the hunger starts. A big piece or two of cheese, a few handfuls of nuts, whatever, just if you’re feeling more hungry than usual and/or your boobs are achy/sore kill your diet and sacrifice your waistline to your bustline, you can get skinny again easier than you can grow your boobs and widen your hips.

Also you started young enough you may experience some changes to your hip bones, that’ll also make you hungry. It’s unlikely, but I lucked out and my hips weren’t fused when I started (I was 20) so I got a bit of hip bone changes before they fused. That’s around the late end of when they typically fuse. And you’ll know if it’s happening.

And try to reduce unnecessary appetite suppressants if you can. Your body isn’t actually moving fat, it’s gaining it in female locations and not replacing it in male ones. These changes all take fuel to happen.

That’s great advice, actually. I attribute my pitiful cup size to not eating enough and vaping.

The peanut butter, omfg. I love that stuff. It’s good and somehow really nutritious and full of good fat and protein. Also inexpensive. It’s nice!

I’m gonna try to eat even more. Not like I can’t afford it, since I’m relatively skinny anyway. Thanks for the helpful comment! ❤️

                Glad to help!

And yeah with the peanut butter it’s great because you can just grab a tablespoon and have a few spoonfuls when the hunger hits. And if you start getting body image issues hindering your ability to eat, there are resources for it.

Tap for pep talk to quit the vape

And yeah, I know the vape is addictive, but I’ll suggest keeping it inconvenient to use so you have to think about if it’s worth using before you do it (same as putting the alcohol bottle on the high shelf between glasses rather than leaving it on the counter, an extra bit of effort can slow you down), as well as finding some other tricks to reduce your nicotine consumption. Or do cold turkey, apologize to everyone you’ll be a bitch for a few weeks and decide if you’ll pick it back up in two years, however your brain works best for such things. Ultimately you have to want to quit, but that’s something you can work on, you’ve already come this far, I know it’s hard, but you can do it.

Don’t even have to announce it, cause that’s the default for me for some reason 😭 /s

I’m trying to get rid of one addiction at a time. For now, that’s kratom. And I’m still not back to normal.

However, I know it’s bad (and especially with HRT) and I do actually plan to quit one day. Just probably not right now.

                  Thank you, also ❤️

I have high prolactin as well and my Endo just won’t believe me that it comes from cypro… she insists that the E alone is responsible for that.

At some point early on I also leaked a bit and I was doing 25mg of cypro daily, I eventually lowered it to 12.5mg every 3 days.

That was still a bit too high as it nuked my T below the normal cis girl range

I have an appointment tomorrow, I’ll see about lowering (or dropping) the cypro. It’s the med that increases prolactin by far the most, of all the stuff I take.
