Not every week is good but there’s something good in every week! What’s gone right recently?

Our carbon monoxide detector went off, and this made us realize we had a leak. Come to find out that my room in the attic had a much higher concentration because it rises and there was no detector up there. That means I was likely inhaling it over a long period of time, which explains the abdomin and chest pains I have had for a while.

But specifically this is good because I got my own detector and was able to catch the old furnace (that we don’t use) was still leaking even after it was shut off, and then I convinced our landlord to have the gas people just cap the pipes to it and rip out the whole thing. And I am already feeling so much better physically a week later!

I felt unprepared for the pathfinder session i ran this weekend, but i was able to improvise enough to fill in any gaps. My players have also started driving the story on their own, which is a behavior i have tried to foster from the start!

There’s not much better in the world than experiencing your favorite music live. I just went to a music festival over the weekend and saw a bunch of bands I love so my win is pretty much the same

It’s an amazing thing, I feel privileged to have been able to see them twice, where I come from, you get maybe 1 “big” concert every 2-5 years

I was in a close friend’s wedding and she got hitched without a hitch. It was a ton of fun and I’m so happy for her and her now wife.
