Nationwide protests led by young people were largely peaceful throughout the day, but reports about looting and rioting in the evening, especially in Frankfurt, overshadowed the spirit of the demonstrations.
Politicians won’t tax the uberwealthy, won’t send their children to wars, and will let the 1% keep taking from the 99%. If even children and teenager are pissed enough to protest, then you know you’ve gone too far: they shouldn’t even be aware you’re fleecing everybody.
If politicians don’t introduce a wealth tax, make life more affordable, and make a marked positive impact in people’s lives, this will just continue happening until heads roll.
