Yeah, although it’s interesting to realise that so much of ‘reddit culture’ was just looted from other cultures and then driven into the ground by a mass of culture-consumers who think they’re in-jokes. Even small things like “this” are lifted out of a context where they made some sense (on sites that don’t have voting or reaction emotes, where you have to reply to show agreement), then misappropriated and repeated on loop, taking up a dumb amount of space and effort to say nothing.
