  • I’m running circles on a track so it’s pretty simple all things considered. It’s funny because I’ve heard so much stuff about running and always hated it to my core. This time feels like when I finally got over my initial gym hump and started enjoying it a bit. Just wished I knew sooner back when I did sports in school all those years ago.

Oh my God my bad running posture and form probably made football (not nice name for running back and forth across the field) way harder than they needed to be 😂

  • It did cool down a bit this week 🤔

The big thing is the gait change I think. Before I never really felt anything in my calves previously but today by the end they were more tired than my quads or my lungs!

I guess thinking about it may be something I look into later, but for now keeping it simple and watching the number move up seems to be a good spot. Thanks for the info I’m sure to look into it in the future!

  • To push back gently on this,

Unless you’re trying to get really jacked, achieve a specific body style or whatever it’s not that complex.

Going to the gym 3 times a week because I wanted to get a bigger upper body and then doing large muscle group exercises for everything else made significant progress for me without ever really knowing too much.

I’m not Adonis by any means, but a high protein calorie deficit brought me down 25 kg of fat and put on 7kg of muscle. The hardest part is just doing everyday or every other day.
