I’ve been accused of being a covert narcissist several times in my life, it’s one of the things I’ve desperately wished to have access to treatment for. I do my absolute best to never demand transactions in any relationship and never seek repayment for anything I do. Writing things down in notes to make sure I don’t cheat anyone, not even by accident. I’ve struggled for a long time to somehow deal with my thick facial hair, using the best tools I have with my budget doesn’t cut it as well as I wish and it’s obvious to anyone who looks at my face that I have shaved recently. It’s one of the reasons I gave up on socially transitioning and HRT by itself didn’t cut it. I’m treated as a man by everyone in my life and this probably won’t change. The local trans community doesn’t like me and wishes not to provide navigational aid. I don’t blame them, they probably have good reasons. I will not let this prevent me to try to enjoy any amount of life I’m capable of achieving and push through all the distress necessary to continue not only surviving, but being alive as much as I can. If I really am a covert narcissist I am glad this is the life I received, if I am not then I won’t let this turn me into a bad person.

It’s not exactly a secret that China’s Social Sciences are lagging behind their Engineering projects. There’s a lot of attempts to manipulate users to buy more, you download AliExpress and they let you play minigames to earn sales coupons for such a small discount, which is not really a discount it’s just a useless time waster to obviously get you addicted to the app. The people who made these design choices obviously know what they’re doing and I hope they suffer consequences for what they’ve done.
Don’t get me wrong, this is not like exclusively super bad stuff or like significantly worse than what Western Capital does, but it’s still harmful practices.

I don’t think there’s anything that can be done about it until the war stops. You are currently engaging in heavier that will get you labeled as a bot, you’re not supposed to ask questions. There is a bad guy and good guy, if you question the good guy you’re a potential threat.

Maybe I am being too cynical here please excuse me, but when the answer is obviously socialism with standards applying equally among all members of society and getting as close to this as practically possible, what’s the actual contradiction you’re trying to solve?
Like is it a split in the left and you are trying to figure out which group to support? If you want to follow the footsteps of Lenin you’re supposed to figure out how to unite all these groups, which is practically impossible to give satisfying answer to, from the sidelines. It’s the same old: “Read theory and figure out how to apply it in your circumstances.”
- They think EVIL GOVERNMENT will take away their money and give it to other people.
- They think EVIL SOCIALIST will take away their right to rent out their property.
- They think SOCIALISTS will force everyone to get a job.
- They think COMMUNISTS will take away all their wealth through mega tax.
- They think they will destroy America and all it’s borders.
10·3 天前Why does it matter? Yes there’s a tendency to ban words describing the lack of certain human capacity, because people are exhausted and tired of scanning for crypto-fascism. Yes they are just going to adapt and use new words, what are you gonna do about it?
Focus on stuff that can actually improve the material reality for the people, so that they can spend less time scanning for danger, people will likely stop giving that much of a shit about cryptic symbols and language, once they secure a stable source of sustainable and prosperous life.
Maybe trump will end up joining the radical left dumocrats in the end.
