What does this post mean? I just commented on your other post as well - this is the equivalent of creating a Reddit account and going around to different subreddits and posting to “request admittance”

??? this isn’t how this works. If you’re trying to make an account on Beehaw, go sign up for one. If you want to access Beehaw with your existing account, you’re already doing that right now. Really not understanding what this post hopes to accomplish
Also just Google stuff as you go and try to understand what each command does as you run it. You’ll pick it up fast, it really isn’t as daunting as you make it sound. Don’t be afraid to start over if you mess something up
Honestly any distro should be fine for gaming. Personally I use Ubuntu, it’s pretty easy to figure out and use. I tried Pop!_OS but interestingly ran into a bunch of issues with my Nvidia GPU. Ubuntu works well for my purposes
Well most of the stuff is going to be a free update released when the DLC is
Him blaming most of the negative reception on people thinking it was “cool” to hate the game is so laughable
My main issue with Liftoff is that I can’t save images. That’s a huge deal breaker for me
I tried PopOS but had several issues immediately, including the display flickering despite updating my Nvidia driver. Other than that it just felt like a somewhat worse Ubuntu to me, so I quickly went back to Ubuntu
Idk about that, if you’re aiming for performance similar to what consoles get you can build a PC for pretty cheap
No, it’s automated via Patreon as well.
I’m confused, this changes nothing for most users. All this does is allow creators that use Patreon tiers to grant certain roles in Discord to do this entirely through Discord. If you’re not in one of these servers, this probably won’t affect you.
Even if you are, it’s still barely a change
No one really has an issue with Reddit charging for API access. It’s the insane amount they’re asking for, the small window of time they gave devs to require monetization, and the fact that the API would no longer provide all content that is the problem.
The stuff you mention is bad too, but it’s hardly the first issue here
Honestly a diet of just those foods sounds miserable - I’m also allergic to nuts so that’s not an option either. Kudos to the people that decide to limit their diet so much to go vegan, but no one is obligated to do so. People are allowed to be excited that there is going to be a more ethical version of food they enjoy
For someone like me, there honestly aren’t many options. I’m allergic to soy, which eliminates a LOT of vegan meat alternatives. I do mostly eat the options I can have rather than eating meat, but a lot of these options are relatively new and have most certainly not “been there this whole time”.
Discord has been making a lot of bad decisions lately but imo this isn’t one of them. It’s not like they’re forcing every server to setup paid channels.
Currently, many creators have Patreons setup and allow varying levels of access to their Discord servers based on Patreon tiers. Literally all this change does is give creators the option to do this entirely through Discord rather than using Patreon.
This is nothing new. Just a slightly different way to handle monetization.
I’ll be in Germany next month, so I’ll have to try out Transportr
No it’s not?
