alternatively we also enjoy the caldereta seasoning with chickpeas, red pepper, and frozen peas! i’ve added soya chunks and/or potatoes to that before too but not often cause it’s a much easier and quicker meal to make without. but these ingredients would be more like actual caldereta, just vegan.

i was about to say beans and rice are super inexpensive!!! and switching up my meals with different types of beans, veggie, and spice combos always keeps it fresh (but i’m a big chickpea fan cause it’s fiber does wonders for my tummy). wanted to add that dried soya chunks are really cheap and supes high in protein too!!! its just most of the stuff that’s trying to replicate animal products that runs expensive.

omg i basically had this yesterday with ichiban yakisoba and just some salt and pepper fried tofu! been meaning to get some liquid smoke for a while now. iirc this bacon-style tempeh i tried forever ago used it and i really liked the taste 😋
i haven’t! the tatreez motifs i’ve seen are really stunning, i actually didn’t realize it’s cross stitched! it would be cool to try embroidering something wearable :o
i think i really like cross stitch because it’s one of the few crafts i do where i consistently finish the projects i start.
really excited for this next one cause i’m going to be stitching these tiny pixel sprites of me and my partner’s fursonas. it’s gonna be so cuuute cause we are so cuteee ^_^
