My personal pick is “The Forever Story” by JID This album blew me away on first listen. Every track on this album is near perfect. I haven’t been taken so far into an album since To Pimp A Butterfly released about a decade ago. It’s been years since it’s come out and I’m still in love with every song on this album

I do love Billy Woods (he’s the reason I researched Robert Mugabe) though I’m not as familiar with Armand Hammer. What’s your favorite album from them? I really wanna get into them but have a hard time picking an entry point

I loved both of those albums quite a bit, so no judgement from me. I mean I didn’t love Mr. Morales that much but the songs I enjoyed off of it, I truly love. I also know that’s an unpopular opinion with most hip-hop fans so don’t feel like my opinion is representative of the full community.
