I think their love for him was fake but I think they really did worship him in their own way because he got away with spewing hatred that they didn’t always have the guts to spew themselves. I am curious what the logistics of a civil war would be, when the dividing issue is right wing vs left wing.
Would it be state vs state? City vs city? Neighbour vs neighbour?
I imagine a lot of people in red and blue cities would need to pack up and get the fuck out of Dodge if they are in a city that’s predominately the other side. Or even the state itself.
Would cities mobilize their militarized police forces or would the police revolt in blue cities since they are mostly right wingers?
It would probably be the federal government, probably the military, and probably the police forces, plus the wing citizens vs just the left wing citizens. I don’t see that ending well, since left wing citizens aren’t as likely to have guns either.
