Kirk was known for sharing extreme and provocative positions online and in frequent on-campus appearances. His killing has sparked messages threatening violence.

Let them fight. I ain’t against the Arab method of mass conquest, that is to say let the two biggest threats bleed each other dry and then feast on their corpses.

I think their love for him was fake but I think they really did worship him in their own way because he got away with spewing hatred that they didn’t always have the guts to spew themselves. And he taught them some new advanced hatreds they hadn’t even thought of. All wrapped in that Prager U illusion of common sense and logic.

I am curious what the logistics of a civil war would be, when the dividing issue is right wing vs left wing.

Would it be state vs state? City vs city? Neighbour vs neighbour?

I imagine a lot of people in red and blue cities would need to pack up and get the fuck out of Dodge if they are in a city that’s predominately the other side. Or even the state itself.

Would cities mobilize their militarized police forces or would the police revolt in blue cities since they are mostly right wingers?

It would probably be the federal government, probably the military, and probably the police forces, plus the wing citizens vs just the left wing citizens. I don’t see that ending well, since left wing citizens aren’t as likely to have guns either.

Just like the slew of other civil wars kicked off by a lone nut killing a non-politician for simply not liking them.

I would have no problem if this resulted in more deaths of establishment politicians.

Our rulers have had this coming for decades.
