      thanks 😊

my partner said she wanted to take a mental picture of me as I was orgasming and remember it forever, so I suspect she has every intention of repeating her handiwork 😁 (is this real life?)

yeah, I am starting to think that might be true 🫠

once she kissed me in the kitchen and it felt so good that I started to dissociate 🙈 I am pretty sure my brain has a secret mission to rob me of ever feeling pleasure or happiness, but I’m putting up a good fight now to work against it. Somehow I’ve slipped into this fantasy world, it would be nice if I could actually be here to enjoy it.

we’re celebrating our 13 year anniversary this month, I really don’t know how I got this lucky 😭

and thanks for the instructions, I’ll try that out and see if it helps - I’ve used grounding techniques in the past but I’ve also struggled to even recognize when I’m dissociating, so it can be hard to tell when something is helping vs not - but I’ll try it anyway.

One of the grounding exercises I learned about from Peter A. Levine’s Waking the Tiger was something like touching various body parts and using a showerhead to generate sensation and repeating things like “this is my arm” and so on. I’m not sure I ever found that particularly useful, though.
