La Fontaine’s version of this is commonly taught to little kids, along others like the Fox and the Crow or the Wolf and the Lamb.
It basically is. The ants used to do the work now the grasshoppers own the means of production so while they were the better workers they aren’t getting the value.
So now the grasshoppers can play around and even generate garbage based on past work without any need for workers. No need to put effort of foresight just like before though. We don’t need the labor so that labor should be put into arts but they can’t even get that.
