      Kde connect almost made me tear up the first time I used it. The anguish I had to go through to upload a file or picture every once in a while to my desktop. Then I find kde and boom there it is.

        Fun fact! You can use KDE Connect even on Windows, macOS and Android.

        Useful to transfer stuff between my devices, or to use my phone as a remote control when I’m watching a movie on the couch!!

        (and I’m pretty sure that, on linux, you don’t need plasma to use it)

          I’ve been using it on Windows for a long time.
          Last weekend I switched my Windows 11 laptop to CachyOS with plasma and it was preinstalled and connected to my phone seamlessly 🤯

      Syncthing works very well for continuous synchronization between many devices, including phones (android at least), just set up and forget
