Video

Senator McConnell was just wheeled out a little after 4 p.m. to head to his office ahead of the 5:30 p.m. roll call vote. He appeared somewhat confused by the rain and showed a delayed response, but still gave no verbal acknowledgment.

Emphasis mine. I didn’t know that. I’ve made a bunch of jokes that all he needed to do was yea/nay. But that was still too much for him.

This isn’t the only alarming development in McConnell’s ongoing health saga. This past weekend, his wife, Elaine Chao, stood in for McConnell at an event at the University of Louisiana’s McConnell Center.

In June, McConnell was found unconscious in his Washington, D.C., home and rushed to the hospital. His office spent weeks refusing to explain his extended hospitalization or elaborate on his eventual return to Capitol Hill. Since returning, McConnell has not appeared lucid or aware, and has remained eerily silent to the public. When the Republican finally did break his silence, he voted incorrectly on a Senate bill and had to be instructed on how to vote.

Something almost poetic about a weaselly ghoul of his caliber suffering from dementia to the point that he forgot how to vote properly

Bastard was a mendacious, calculating, neoconservative goon for a quarter of a century and now his brain is melting

Critical support to McConnel for providing a great potential Halloween costume to socially anxious party goers

But jokes aside, the only good thing I can say about the guy was that he was such a POS that I don’t have to feel bad about how they’re treating him

Unlike war crimes this one could happen in a totally non-partisan way, you just need a stray sheriff or prosecutor somewhere they take one of these demons to want to be famous.

If the Louisville DA decides they want a national profile it’s an easy path

I wonder if they’ll ever tell us what the fuck happened. How the fuck did they keep him alive? Like do you think they gave him synthetic cerebrospinal fluid, artificial synapses, or something wild? Maybe like a brain pacemaker; they gave him a neuralink so the Impractical Jokers can SSH into his motor cortex to give the thumbs up.

Cause didn’t some medical event have him dead to rights? Then he just straight up disappears and reappears as this husk? It’s interesting and relevant only so far as how he holds the seat because he’s alive so they don’t trigger the special election clause. But if I’m daydreaming, I think they’re doing something medically that would give me the same reaction that the demons had when they realize Freiren’s secret technique.
