older woman who is colorblind checking in here. sorry if its all a color mismatch. this was the only Halloween wig I could afford because I am very bald. 😭 but I looked at myself in the mirror and couldn’t stop smiling. 😁 i love all of you!!!

i took my first dose of estradiol valerate and spironolactone this morning. i have unfortunately had a spike in blood pressure but i’m monitoring it.

If you’re ever wanting to match colors to something in the future, and you’re okay with physically going into stores, you can bring the item and ask a sales person to help you. I worked in an accessory store ages ago, but my favorite task customers gave me was building a look around an item.

I love that silhouette on you, and I’m a little jealous of the freedom you gave with wigs :) Grats on your first doses!

I wish wigs felt like freedom, but I understand from my own experiences with my own hair when I still had it when I was young, sometimes it doesn’t matter what you want to do with it, there’s just no making it look how you want without having a different type of hair entirely, thickness, tensile strength, curliness, color all impact how hair is able to be styled.

Anyway, thank you for the tip on going in to stores. I don’t live too far from more open minded areas, so I might be able to do that when I visit the west side of the state sometime.

clothing has two primary purposes: the functional purpose (keeping you warm/dry), and the “does this clothing make me happy” purpose. sounds like you found a perfect outfit!

      Thanks so much!

The great news is I am just a dingus who was using my blood pressure cuff wrong. Went to a welk-in clinic. Nurses tested twice and I was fine, just having a panic attack thinking I wasn’t. So, it’s resolved because it wasn’t actually a think hooray! lol

Thank you, and it’s actually two sizes two big, I was able to get another cute one in the right size and shipping this one back to get replaced with the right size. I measured myself based on the size chart online and i guess it was off by a bit lol

Thank you so much, I was anxious about the glasses before all of this, because I got them as a man to suit a man and I was worried they couldn’t pull double duty. But then I got put together and realized they’re not that bad at all. I do wish my head wasn’t so friggin wide so I could have some slightly more feminine frames but que sera sera

I think that frame suits you very well, and I did not consider for even a second that it was not a woman’s frame.

It’s just the beginning of your journey, but you are already rocking it!
