After I transitioned I had to ask my therapist if I had become a narcissist because I was captivated by my reflection and would just gaze at myself and spend a lot of time brushing my hair in the mirror. Seeing my reflection would cheer me up when I was down even. My photo roll went from very infrequent, glowering selfies to many happy grinning ones.
She told me that no I was not a narcissist. That after so many years of disliking what the mirror held that it was normal and wonderful to feel joy at seeing the real me reflected at last and that I could gaze away with no shame. And I do!
You can tell it’s fiction, because she didn’t lose a single gold coin. She got that surgery for free.
no that’s the display money for the desk. She has a bank account and made the transaction using a debit card.
That’s the decorative cash, don’t use it to wash your hands, it’s just for display.
Those are show diamonds, we can’t use those.
I bet you keep them in a vault with walls you break down instead of functioning doors
There’s a functioning door, just not one that goes out.
Makes me think about how rich people have easier and faster access to all kinds of medical things like HRT and surgery, and how I am also privileged to have fairly easy access to HRT
