I’d love the noisy tasks doing for me
Yes, absolutely.
I hate getting my hands dirty, or touching anything even remotely slimy or greasy. Washing the dishes is hell for me (which is why I’ve insisted on having a dishwasher for 20 years now). When there is something that needs to be hand-washed, my wife will usually do it for me.
She can’t stand the vacuum cleaner. Or chopping up food. Or overhead florescent lights. Or processes that take more than 3 steps. So, I do all of the vacuuming, the cooking, the shopping, etc.
Now, if only one of us could handle crowds…
Sort of, i take care of the routine home tasks while my wife takes care of the organization or talking tasks.
Though as I’ve understood, that’s how relationships are supposed to function, two people coming together to deal with life and supporting each others weak sides.

Yeah, for some reason, for several years there’s been this myth floating around that you need to be 100% self-sufficient before you’re ready to be a partner in a relationship, but like…
That is not how human relationships have worked for the entirety of human existence. As long as mammals have been warm-blooded, we’ve worked together to share burdens and lighten each other’s loads. Matching strengths to weaknesses to fill in each other’s gaps, etc.
This sort of atomized hyperindividualism is a very recent phenomenon, and it’s also very western. Specifically very american, even. Although it tends to spread because of cultural hegemony and social media. But hopefully that’s changing now as people lose trust in america and take off the rose-colored glasses.
I also think there’s some corporate psyop/social engineering behind it too. Because if they can make people lonely and desperate, they’re easier to manipulate, easier to control, easier to play on their vices to make them follow this or that trend, because they get their social perception/intuition through social media and algorithmic filters now instead of chatting with other members of their community at the local water hole or third spaces.
Plus, if people could remember that it’s okay to love someone despite their imperfections, then social media and so much of other industries would lose their stranglehold on people’s insecurities, which they’ve found it very profitable to agitate.
Yeah, we have the saying, together we are one good monkey
Yeah, except the last part. We are more like: “damn you are the coolest! How can you be so cool?” and we feel an eternal debt to each other. Once in a while we are like: “Oh i feel bad, that you are doing sooo much, and I do nothing” and the other is: “No, I feel bad that YOU are doing sooo much, and I am doing nothing”.
Not exactly the same but it took my wife and I almost 20 years to figure out that I hate loading the dishwasher and she hates putting dishes away. Now she loads it and I unload and put everything away and dishes get done in a timely manner instead of piling up. As a bonus everything actually gets put in the right place and properly organized now.
That’s beautiful. I’ve long believed communication is the key to a healthy relationship.
Simple changes like this can be so effective, but they’re only possible if there’s good communication.
I want goth autistic mommy domme to love me.
¾ is still really great, I gotta say
Edit: I got 3 upvotes and 1 down, it’s perfect this way leave it be
Sorry, I don’t know what that means.
goth autistic mommy domme is 4 parts. They’re suggesting their partner has 3 out of 4 of those traits.
Which three I wonder?
Ambiguity can be fun.
I’ll clean the kitchen top to bottom, if you reach into the dish washer and clean the icky garbage trap. 😖
When I fantasize about a star trek future, I imagine an ordinary world where people of color have been paid reparations and neurodivergent people have taxpayer-funded housecleaners.
