Elon Musk admitted to using two secret alternate accounts on his social media platform X (formerly Twitter) in a deposition for a lawsuit against the billionaire. He said that he used some accounts on the social media site outside of his main public account when he was asked to clarify if he used an account on X that had been linked to him by several users on social media. Some users posted a screenshot of his X interface last year in which the additional account appeared to be visible.
So this guy is the CEO of like 5 companies and he still has time to pretend to be a kid on Twitter? Is he really working that hard? Is he working so much harder that he’s worth 20,000x the average worker?
CEOs don’t work hard. They delegate the hard work and they have fun, go to lunch with other assholes, etc.
They also love to talk about how hard they work at those lunches
I’d like to live in a world with a 1000x pay scale.
Whatever the richest person makes, the poirers must make at least 1/1000th of that amount.
I’m ok with this.
Spewing bullshit as consistently as he does while still being believed by your core base is a rare skill set.
he’s worth 20,000 of your children
yours personally
just for asking that question
No that would still make my kid worth $9.8 million. My kid will be lucky if he’s worth 1/200,000th of that asshole (not accounting for inflation).

He’s worth the money because he owns the stock.
He isn’t as much of a worker as he is someone who owns a lot of the company.
Personally I think he’s outlived his usefulness at Tesla. X has become his passion project.
I’d like to see a new ceo at Tesla. Great cars. He hyped them well then lost interest.

Do you own one? I do. Best car I’ve ever driven. Elon didn’t design it or build it himself. You can dislike Elon but still like the cars.
I guess they’re fine when they aren’t killing people or issuing massive recalls or deploying the breaks spontaneously or facing build quality concerns or trying to blame customers for defective parts but hey, at least they’re not quite the worst in terms of reliability.
or blatantly spying on your users
The recalls are normally OTA fixes.
Never had a mechanical issue with mine.
I always think it’s funny when people try to tell you your experience. I own an Audi and a Tesla. The Tesla is the better car.
Lol no one’s trying to tell you your experience, they’re trying to tell you the experiences reported by everyone else. That’s the difference between anecdotal evidence and empirical evidence.
Everyone I know loves their Tesla. It’s why their satisfaction rating is so high.
Telsa owners remain more loyal than owners of other brands’ EVs
I work on Tesla’s. They are not great cars.
Well that puts you in a minority who feels that way. Good for you.
If we assume @Marcumas@lemmy.world isn’t lying then you’re in minority as an owner of Tesla as compared to someone who has worked on Teslas.
That’s make zero sense. The majority of Tesla owners are happy with their car and would buy again. The higher rates for EV. So try again
X has become his passion project.
Ah yes, my passion too is a dumpster fire. Love the smell!
rofl as if he was ever good for Tesla… Outside of strongarming the few government contracts, he’s been an overtly negative impact onvthe brand and now everyone laughs at Teslas instead of viewing them like the iphone of electric cars.
… but you go off about how he’s good for ANY company…
They kinda are the iPhone of electric cars.
Twenty years from now idiots will be telling me ‘I know you think they’re overpriced and locked down but my apps carry over and I just don’t have the time to learn something new!’
Yea but normies still think iphones are decent, for the most part. Now even Tesla owners admit they’re shit.
That’s quite a big difference when it comes to the health of a company.
Sadly it’s only our bubble where we see tesla owners hate on them, normies posting on Facebook and tiktok still drool over them simply as a symbol of wealth.
So his regular account?
you know what they say about rich people using their time more efficiently and effectively? this is what that means

What is the account in question?
The account @ermnmusk, under the name “Elon Test” appeared to show Elon Musk role-playing as a child much like his three-year-old son. Last year the account posted, “I will finally turn 3 on May 4th!”, in a
This is just weird.
I would be much more impressed if he an account where he pretended to NOT be a child…
You. Fucking. Weirdo.
Instead of pretending to be his own infant son (which is really, really weird) , it would be much funnier if he made an alt account pretending to be a bad impersonation of himself, if he has a sense of humour, that is.
That way, he can say things without having it link back to him and stay under the radar, after all, who in the right mind would ever expect an unverified “Elon Musk” Twitter account to be ran by the actual Elon Musk?
That is essentially the Adrian Deitman account. He is pretending to be a loser who is obsessed is pretending to be Elon.
It is really quite pathetic.
I don’t understand how he even have time to be so terminally online when he’s running like 5 different companies.
yeah its almost like CEOs don’t deserve the pay they get for the “work” they do and everything is a lie
when he’s running like 5 different companies
Given what I’ve read about his management style, the more time he spends on Twitter, the better it is for his employees.
If Elon Musk had had the misfortune to be poor, he would have been institutionalized by now. But since he’s rich, the media just fawns over all his whacko bullshit.
Idk I think he would be just a normal guy. Maybe he would work retail or something and be miserable. I still think that would be better haha.
He’d be a retail manager who meets up for abdl role play. Which honestly idgaf if everyone is a consenting adult, my issue would be the retail manager part and possibly him still being a raging bigot
How you know you’re a good person
But his official account isn’t secret, is it? 🤷
That’s the one where he pretends to be an adult.
He’s doing a shit job.
I thought that’s why he had his main account.
Oh yeah I forgot about the whole “baby account” thing. Man why are rich people so weird?
Because they are psychopaths who really only triumph because their mental illness allows them to bypass social norms and expectations.
Because they know they can get away with being their true selves?
His regular account also behaves like a child, but he isn’t pretending.
Has he considered an account where he talks to his therapist?
This is a deeply wounded and developmentally stunted man, and the power he holds is terrifying because of it.
What did you expect? He has autism
Autism has nothing at all to do with what I said.
Autism doesn’t turn you into an unempathetic megalomaniac.
Being a billionaire does.
So do I. This has more to do with being an terrifying entitled, out of touch billionaire. Who also happens to be autistic.
