I doubt it would lead to anything legally. A similar thing happened with Sarah Palin and Gabby Giffords. Palin’s campaign sent out fliers with crosshairs over certain districts held by Democrats that Republicans wanted to win. One of these was targeted at Gabby Gifford’s district and shortly after, someone shot her in the head. Nothing happened to Palin over it.
