U.S. President Donald Trump seemingly discussed the idea of foreign powers taking out California’s most populated cities while delivering a speech at a Republican rally at the Pinnacle Bank Expo in Grand Island, Nebraska Monday evening.

Isn’t it illegal to incite violence against the citizens of the USA? Especially by the “potus”? In the normal run-by-the-US Constitution world, wouldn’t that be considered treason?

      Isn’t it illegal

So is 34 counts of falsifying business records. Not sure why people bring up legality during a Fascist government.

You think people where saying "Franco shot my kids… that’s illegal!”?

To paraphrase something I saw online: it’s not that he encouraged Iran to bomb California but Trump could bomb California and blame Iran for it.

Everything is projection, he posited many times that Obama would bomb Iran just in time to rile up war hawk votes. They’ve literally written down their entire fascist plan and people keep treating it all as separate fuckup news stories

‘The most uneducated buffoon in history stands at a podium, bloated with self-importance, lips pursed like a carnival barker ready to sell turd milk to the unsuspecting. He grins a grotesque smirk stretched across his face as he scrawls his name onto a hollow decree, a sham celebration of the dismantling of knowledge itself. The Department of Education falls, not with a bang, but with wheezing verbs, suffocated under the weight of his own staggering ignorance. Surrounding him are the usual suspects: cowards in expensive suits, servile sycophants clapping like trained seals, and racist opportunistic ghouls picking clean the bones of democracy. Liars, fools, and thieves all parasites fattening themselves on the hardships of the many. They stand in rigid formation, dead-eyed and soulless, their allegiance sworn not to country, not to principle, but to power, and the dark, festering rot that clings to it. And there he is the convicted wrong, the living embodiment of septic tank spew, his voice a noxious fog of grift and grievance. He lectures the world on right and wrong, irony clawing at the walls, desperate to escape the grotesque theatre of his moral void. The stomach turns, the air curdles, and for a moment, history itself recoils watching, in horror, as the great American experiment teeters on the precipice, led by a man who couldn’t spell “precipice” if his life depended on it.’

The great American experiment is winding down. It’s been interesting to watch. TBH it didn’t last nearly as long as many historical empires, oh well.

Well, according to some of my former Christian teachers, that’s because of of the gays.

Yes, they claim that most empires average 250 years and fall when they start normalizing open homosexuality. No I don’t believe any of that crap anymore.

A more educated look showed years ago that the US system was based too much on “gentlemen’s agreements” and lacked clear and real protections for democracy and human rights.

Christians are appaling. I am a reasonable man and am certain that their holy book is an absolute heap of disgusting, slavery condoning, male infant genital mutilation demanding, repellent, demented, vicious dark age mumbo jumbo. Christians should be told quite clearly that our citizens have the legal right to criticise, lampoon, ridicule and mock god and Jesus to their heart’s content, in any way that they wish: that Christians have no special claim to protection from the rough and tumble of post-Enlightenment intellectual, political and social life. If they cannot live in a society in which this is the case, they should go somewhere else; they are, after all, spoilt for choice, at least in theory.

Cascadia would take California in. If Alberta wants to separate from Canada then we will let them and we can extend an invitation to Washington, Oregon, California, Idaho, and Montana so that we can connect to greater Canada avoiding Alberta.

The military would have to be significantly weakened for that. Plus, a plurality of law enforcement and military stationed here would have to be on our side. I don’t see that happening.

Significantly weakend like as if the US military was being destabilized by an unhinged President purging the officer corps and losing a conflict with Iran? Asking for a friend

First of all, California has already been declared an Iranian province as a result of Straight of Trump declaration.

California should consider rejecting US membership in protest of this… without necessarily accepting Iran’s invitation.

Iran literally can’t hit the US mainland yet. That’s the sole reason for them constantly getting attacked in the first place - preferable while already in some sort of negotiations.
